Digital Facade Playbook · Part 5

Show what you sell: menu, services, prices.

Customers comparison-shop before they call. When they can't see what you offer and roughly what it costs, they bounce to the business that shows them.

Do this

  1. Fill in Services (or Menu) on your Google listing. The dashboard has a whole section for it — most businesses leave it empty. List every service, even the obvious ones.
  2. Put the full menu/service list on your website as real text. Not a photo of the menu, not a PDF — typed-out text. Google reads text; it can't reliably read a photo of your price board.
  3. Show prices, or at least ranges. "Haircuts from $15" beats silence. Price-shy pages lose the customers who were ready to buy.
  4. Lead with your best sellers. Top five first — that's all most people read.
  5. Update it when prices change. A wrong price online costs more goodwill than no price.
Real text is searchable text. When your barbacoa plate or brake-job price is typed on your site, "barbacoa plate near me" can find you. A photo of the same menu is invisible to that search.
